A guy name Simon Laprise surprised an officer checking out the car and realizing that that the car was made of the snow. He created a life-size model of a DeLorean DMC-12, made famous in the “Back to the Future” movies, using a bunch of snow outside his Montreal home.
Montreal, Quebec, gets its fair share of snow. Montreal has a well-organized snow removal process to clear the streets after a storm. This requires the roads to be clear of parked cars to ensure the entire road can be cleared effectively, which is why there is a citywide parking ban during storms.
Laprise said the attention has been overwhelming, and his computer even froze from all the messages he’s getting.
“It was a beautiful day, so I decided to do something out of the mountain of snow, to do a little joke to the snow guys, and have fun sculpting a car. It’s not my first one, just the first I do in the street on snow removal day.”
“I meant to trick the snow removal guys. I was not expecting a ticket/note, much less it going viral.”
